Emergence is an epic of 38 interlocking poems in the long form tradition of Antler, Ginsberg, and Whitman - written from many levels on the spectrum of consciousness - plus the postscript poem "21st Century Prayer", a rhapsody of sacred poetic intention and praise. Emergence arose out of my 22-24 yr. old consciousness from a profound love for all life on this planet, and out of a primal scream that we can do better. It started writing itself within a few months of returning home from a 13,000-mile solo camping (& couch-surfing) trip around America.
